I have another fab, baby Recipe to share with you! Whilst Flo napped this morning (for 1.5 hours-get in!), I had a go at making Roasty-Red Pesto Chicken from the First Foods Cook Book, the Purple One by Ella’s Kitchen. I’ve been quite lucky so far, because Flo isn’t a fusspot and is generally happy to eat whatever I spoon into her mouth or put on her tray (or her Sister’s tray).

This was so easy to make! Once you have chopped the veggies, it was just a case of layering them into a oven dish (lined with tin foil) and then popping it into the oven for 40 minutes. It smelt so delicious as it baked. Once cooked, I threw it into my blender to make it nice and smooth.

Flo is definitely getting more used to thicker textures now. I’ve noticed that she doesn’t eat quite as much, but I figure that she’s still exploring different textures and it’s probably more filling too. It’s also suitable for freezing, so you can make batches for another day,

Flo really enjoyed her lunch and pretty much ate the whole lot! Tonight the girls are having homemade Fish Pie from Anabel Karmel’s Quick & Easy Weaning Cookbook. I’ll share that recipe tomorrow. Here’s the recipe, if you fancy giving it a try.
