Ever since we visited NASA a couple of weeks ago, one of the girls favourite games to play together is “Space & aliens”. They were over the moon, when ekolife kindly sent them a Space Voyager to review. Ekolife create eco-friendly toys that are not only 100% renewable, they are also 100% recyclable and 100% biodegradable, isn’t that amazing?

Did you know that 8m+ tonnes of plastic is dumped in the ocean every year? And around 90% of all seabirds have plastic in their stomachs? How devastating is that? Ekolife offer you the opportunity to make a difference to the environment whilst providing endless fun for your little ones #parentwin.

With a 5..4..3..2..1, the girls were both in their space suits and ready for their space mission to “catch the naughty aliens”. The best thing about ekolife toys is how sturdy and strong they are, our Space Voyager took a bit of a beating, the girls were so overexcited that they started to wrestle the imaginary “naughty aliens” inside the rocket, but it still stood strong. It’s also quite spacious inside and it could easily fit three small children.

The Space Voyager is really easy to build and you can also fold it away when the fun has finished. Thanks to the super strong cardboard, Ekolife toys really do provide endless fun, you can fold and unfold the toy numerous of times and it will still be in great shape. It folds down flat so you can store it under the bed or on top of the wardrobe.

The environment is not the only reason behind ekolife ethos. We all fall into the trap of buying our children lots of noisy, battery operated, plastic toys, that end up getting shoved in the loft or garage. Ekolife want to reignite children’s imaginations and encourage make believe play. I’m a massive fan of learning through play and I’ve noticed that the girls actually play better this way.

Ekolife have created so many impressive and unique cardboard toys from; Pick-me-up-Planes to racing cars to an Adventure Hut and Fortress, you really are spoilt choice! They would make the perfect Birthday present or a great rainy day activity. Check out their website https://www.ekolife.co.uk and see for yourselves, you will not be disappointed!
