Over the next couple of weeks, I am going to be sending lots of Halloween inspiration your way. Even though Trick or Treating maybe cancelled, it doesn’t mean that you can’t have some spooky fun with your little ones safely at home. We have been very lucky to work with Little Blossoms Play-Dough and they sent the girls one of their amazing Halloween Play-Dough kits to explore and they both couldn’t wait to get stuck in.
I am a massive fan of invitation to play, I love how it gives the girls freedom to play and use their imaginations, it also gives me the chance to enjoy a hot cuppa in peace. Little Blossoms Play-Dough Halloween kits are brilliant, they are jam-packed full of fun and each kit comes with handmade and toxic-free, play-dough and lots of Halloween themed treasures. There are two different kits to choose from including Halloween Magic Spell Play-Dough kit for £20 and Pumpkin Patch Play-Dough Kit for £15 and each kit includes realistic plastic spiders (that almost gave me a heart attack every time I laid eyes on them), wooden pumpkin faces, beautifully hand-painted, CE tested peg-doll Witch and matching Halloween toadstool, mini witches cauldron, mini wooden stars, plastic eye ball, glitzy pipe cleaners and lots more.
The girls wasted no time mixing potions in the mini cauldron, adding “treasure to make the potion extra magical”. Bella made fly pancakes and she rolled out fly sausages for the spiders to feast on and Flo made a Halloween Birthday cake for the bat. The Play-Dough scent is Candy Floss and it smells absolutely amazing, there was also a sprinkle of biodegradable glitter on top, which really impressed the girls. I love the fact that the play-dough comes in it’s own tin, so it will keep the play-dough fresher for longer, it’s also great storage to.
The girls were both thoroughly entertained and they played with their Little Blossoms Play-Dough kit for ages. It’s a great activity for siblings or friends to enjoy together and it also makes a great sensory play activity. The possibility for play is endless and there are lots of opportunities for little ones to develop those all important pincer grips. Halloween falls on a Saturday this year and a Little Blossom Halloween Play-Dough kit would make a great, alternative way to celebrate rather than Trick or Treating.
If you are looking for a healthier alternative Halloween treat for your little monsters, I highly recommend that you check out Little Blossoms Play-Dough on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/littleblossomsdough/ I am very impressed with the quality of their kits and would totally buy another one. Each kit comes in a gift box with coordinating tissue paper and ribbon and the Halloween kits will take between 2-3 weeks for delivery, so what are you waiting for people?! Keep an eye out for my next Halloween themed blog coming soon!
