Incoming…my first festive blog of the season, well we are half way into November, so it would be rude not to start embracing all things Christmas. I will be bringing my top Christmas gift list for kids soon, so to kick off my Christmas must-haves, we have been lucky enough to collaborate with Bigjigs Toys again and they have sent the girls one of their beautiful, wooden, Nativity Sets and they absolutely loved it. I am a big fan of wooden toys and this Nativity Set is a timeless gift that can be enjoyed time and time again.

Bella is learning about The Nativity at School, so she was really excited to act out what she has been learning, using the beautifully crafted characters. It didn’t take long before the girls imaginations got the better of them and the traditional The Nativity tale went in a completely different direction. The Shepherds and animals were doing a Conga, the Donkey hitched a ride on the cow and at one point, Mary and Joseph had roped the Donkey in to babysit Baby Jesus, whilst they “went out for dinner”.

The girls had an absolute blast playing with this Bigjigs Toys Nativity Set and it kept them entertained for ages. The Stable was flat packed but it’s really easy to build, there are also instructions showing you how to put it together, which is handy if you’re a bit of a Bridget Jones when it comes to any form of DIY. I love how chunky and sturdy this Nativity Set is, it’s robust and such great quality. It’s the kind of toy that you can pack away each year and bring it out for your children to enjoy every Christmas, what a lovely family tradition to start.

This Nativity Set costs £33.49 and includes; Baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph, 3 Wise Men, 2 Shepherds, Donkey, Cow, Sheep, Horse, Camel and Angel Gabriel and of course the Stable. This wooden playset is a brilliant way to teach little ones about the story and message of Christmas, plus it’s a great activity for siblings to enjoy together. If you’re struggling with Christmas ideas for your children, you should definitely check out this Nativity Set from Bigjigs Toys https://www.bigjigstoys.co.uk/nativity-set it would make a wonderful Christmas gift.
