My two mini Princesses dusted off their tiara’s and their excitement levels were through the roof for today’s Once Upon A Wish Events, Snow Sisters event, held at Mecure Hotel in Tunbridge Wells. The girls are big Frozen fans so they couldn’t wait to meet the two stars of the show. If you haven’t experienced a Once Upon A Wish Event before, you are seriously missing out, their events are 5 star quality and Jess and her team always put so much effort into the events. The attention to detail is second to none and the characters really do look and sound the part.
We were a couple of minutes early, so we sat with the other mini Princesses in the bar seating area and just before the event started, Elsa and Anna surprised everyone with a quick hello, which was nice added touch. The look on all the little girls faces was priceless, they couldn’t believe their eyes, it was magical. The adults wore masks as they were shown to their seats and there was a sanitising station before you entered the event, the decorated tables were set 2m apart and there was plenty of seating for both adults and children.
I loved the relaxed vibe and one of the things I love most about Once Upon A Wish Events is how intimate and engaging their events are, the characters always go out of their way to include everyone, children are encouraged to get involved and your little ones can have one to one chats with their favourite Princesses or Superheroes. Once we were seated, there was a photo opportunity with the Snow Sisters, the girls could not wait and they wasted no time in having their picture taken.
The children were invited to the front where they did a little warm up dance to break the ice, followed by lots of fun games including a Frozen themed Musical Statues (Bella was over the moon when she won a prize), snowflake search in the garden with the help of Anna & Elsa, and a super fun Princess parade which was led by Elsa. The girls learnt the rules of becoming a perfect snow princess and they were so thrilled when they were told they could take their rule card home. Flo was an absolute pro at balancing a bean bag on her head and she took the challenge very seriously.
Cups of squash were brought round and little ones had the choice of two different flavours, they were also given a pink cupcake to enjoy to, which was a real treat. Whilst the children enjoyed their refreshments, Elsa visited the tables and she spoke to each child, the girls were beyond excited and really enjoyed chatting to her. After the girls had stuffed their faces with cupcakes, they joined the other Princesses on the floor to listen to Elsa sing Let it Go.
Whilst Elsa sang her song, Olaf made a surprise appearance which the girls were both so happy about, Olaf joined in at the end and there was another photo opportunity. The girls had the best time and they left with the biggest smile on their faces, they have loved every Once Upon A Wish Event that they have attended so far and are always looking forward to the next one. There are currently a few tickets left for tomorrow’s Superhero School and Ballet School with Belle and Cinders, which are both fantastic events and will make the best half term treat.
