We are already a massive fan of The Amazing Craft Company’s craft kits, so I was very excited to hear about their latest craft workshop at Langton Pavilion. Today’s workshop was Pirate Craft and both Bella and her bestie Elsie loved it. The craft table was setup in a quiet corner, away from the chaotic hustle and bustle of the cafe.

The workshop was run by Fiona (who’s amazing by the way), she’s brilliant with the kids and always ready to lend a hand if needed. The craft workshop was well organised, all the bits and bobs were ready in baskets, so the kids could get stuck in straight away. The girls really enjoyed making a pirate ship and parrot.

The Pirate Craft Workshop cost £5 per child and it runs for an hour. I think it’s great value for money. The kids get to make two crafts, everything is provided and it encourages them to try new crafts that they might not necessarily get to try at home.

I loved the fact that the crafts were simple and fun and both the girls were more than capable of taking part. It also gives us parents some ideas to try at home. This was the last workshop for the summer. I’m definitely taking Bella to the next one.

The Autumn/Winter workshop dates haven’t been released yet, but I’ll shall keep you posted. In the meantime you can always check out their website http://www.theamazigcraftcompany.co.uk as the workshops will be listed on there. Don’t forget to have a nose at their craft kits, they make the best boredom buster when the weather is pants.
