I’m always on the hunt for new crafts or sensory ideas for the girls to try. I thought I’d have a look for summer themed craft ideas and share them all with you! With the impending summer holidays, I’m getting prepared with a few boredom busters.
I really like this idea! I think it would great fun for Bella and also a fab sensory activity for Flo. They are so simple to make! Simply fill ice cube trays with water and add Food Colouring or Liquid Watercolour Paint and pop them into the freezer. I’m definitely going to give this activity a try. Bella loves water play. This is a really easy and fun craft activity and one that a Toddler can most definitely get on with. Once you’ve cut the Ice Lolly shape, they can take care of the rest. This craft idea is great for imaginative play. I’m also going to make these with Bella. This will be a good idea for her to do with one or two of her friends. This idea was taken from Learning and Exploring Through Play.
This is another really simple and easy craft idea! Once you’ve prepared the facial features and cut out the beams, your Toddler can take care of the rest. This might be a good activity to help explore emotions. You could create happy smiles, unhappy faces, surprised faces. You get the drift. This idea was taken from www.theinspirationedit.com
Paper Plate Jellyfish
I really like this idea! It’s also a good way for your Toddlers to explore different materials and textures. I like the ribbon tentacles! Again it’s a nice and easy craft idea. This idea was taken from Arty Crafty Kids.
I hope these ideas help keep your little ones entertained. I’m excited to try these ideas with Bella! I’ll let you know how we get on! Enjoy!
